Body in Mind venturing into some on-line experiments…

in General

We have been working for a while towards doing some experiments that involve online data collection.  These experiments will involve reaction time tasks and questionnaires.  However, many of you will know that Lorimer has NO IDEA when it comes to setting up things like this. However, he is a courageous fellow and has timidly gone where he has never gone before – Survey Monkey.  He has set up this very quick survey – it will take about 30 seconds to complete and involves only 5 questions and a tiny bit of maths.  The questions are easy – age, gender. The maths is a multiple choice multiplication task. Then we ask you to imagine something and rate the experience you have imagined.  We would really really REALLY appreciate it if you could do it – so that we get an idea of how many people in our network and beyond would be willing to do such a thing if we kept it brief AND we can play with the data that we get out of it.  So, please help us out.
Here’s the survey link

Thanks a million,
The BIM Team

Does it compromise my entry that i actually was stung by a bee for the first time only 2 weeks ago and therefore knew exactly where it ranked on my personal pain scale?

Hmm…a little feedback…don’t use 100 choices through a question online… if my rating was 80 the pain of scrolling through might induce me to rate it as 70 or something like that..

I became quite perplexed about where to rate a beesting, because it would depend entirely on where on my body I was stung. So I provided you with my best approximation of a response …
